Next to Yellowstone National Park, it has the largest geyser field on the planet. The list goes on. Christopher Knight has photographed for the National Geographic and many other magazines. He is also a Harvard-trained architect, a sailor who has twice crossed the Atlantic, and the founder of the New Film Company, which has produced numerous documentaries, among them "A Yankee in Kamchatka." He shot these photographs on a trip to Kamchatka in 1990.
