What sex was this person?
(back to Reading the Remains)

The shape of the pelvis reveals that it was indeed a woman. Scarring on the pelvis suggests that she might have given birth to three or more children. In fact, alongside the princess scientists found another grave with the remains of a 15-month-old baby. Since this grave contained precisely the same goods but on a miniature scale, including a tiny anvil by the baby's left ankle, it is thought that this infant was the Princess's daughter.
