The NOVA expedition to Antarctica that culminated in a successful climb of Vinson Massif, the continent's highest mountain, in January 2001, began with a series of camps at progressively higher altitudes. Below are 360-degree photographs of the first three camps the team set up on its journey. Click on the thumbnails to view the panoramas and read about the camps. All images were shot by producer Liesl Clark.
