APPRAISER: I see you've got your receipt, which you paid $1,250 for it. That's not bad for an auction sale. It's made by a company called Marcus & Company in New York. They're a late 19th-century, early 20th-century firm. This is an unusual piece for several reasons. One, it's in 18-karat gold. It's got green enamel around it. It's called a tiara ring. And it's got quite a few karats of diamonds in it as well. It's really quite a beautiful thing. And it was in the pre-Art Nouveau style. And in today's market, you're talking about in the neighborhood of $6,000.
