GUEST: Well, I've had it in my possession for about 25 years. And I purchased it from a friend of mine that was a camera buff. And he dug it out of a dumpster. I traded him a camera for it, and that's how I got it.

APPRAISER: This is A Voyage of Discovery. It's by a man named Ross, and he was looking for the Northwest Passage. Many of these books from this period have beautiful colored plates. This is an engraving of the ships pulling up to the ice, meeting some of the native population. This book is in very good condition because this is the original binding. It doesn't look fancy, but it actually is better having it with the original binding and things. Maybe have a little bit of work done on it, but then let... read it, show it to people, show the gorgeous colored plates on it. It's worth $3,500. It's a great book, keep going in the dumpsters.
