 One of the communities hardest hit by Hurricane Harvey was Rosharon, Texas, a Cambodian farming town 30 miles south of Houston.

 So, they couldn’t wait for a boat because the water was getting 
higher and higher. He waded out himself and went to higher ground, so he could go call somebody for help. And when he waded out there, it went up to his neck.

 Residents lost their homes and their business growing water spinach. The farms here supply Houston's biggest asian markets and restaurants. Harvey's toxic water made the crops inedible.

 He has no income, he has no place to live, he is trying to survive hour by hour, not even day by day. He doesn’t know what is coming next, he’s just waiting for somebody to help.

 Wet from flooding, homes here and throughout the region became petri dishes of dangerous mold and bacteria. Spores float into the air and into residents' lungs, caution serious health hazards. Months after Harvey, this village is still recovering.
