Waterfall Below Camp Two, Marojejy National Park QTVR
(click and drag in image, left or right, up or down)
In this image shot on the edge of the waterfall that tumbles
out of the heights below Camp Two, one of our Malagasy cooks,
Jean Zoky, looks off toward the stone mountain that overlooks
the camp. All around is primary lowland rain forest, which is
so distant from the nearest road that it has never been logged
or otherwise exploited. On the embankment behind Zoky grow some
of the 260 species of ferns found within this 150,000-acre
national park.
