Camp Two, Marojejy National Park QTVR
(click and drag in image, left or right, up or down)
Just shy of 2,400 feet in altitude, Camp Two lies atop a
tumbling waterfall, which plunges over a lip of stone on the
downhill side of this image. On the uphill side, team members
Mike Kraus, Pat Wright, and Mireya Mayor chat near some of the
expedition tents. To their right stands the gray canvas cook
tent. Across the stream, more tents lie amidst the foliage,
where the trail continues up to Marojejy's 7,035-foot summit.
The water level is low because it's the dry season, but in the
wet season (roughly December to March), this stretch would be a
raging torrent.
