Cracking the Code of Life
Classroom Resources

We hope that these classroom resources will help you and your students learn some of the science and issues behind the Human Genome Project. The Teacher's Guide provides background information on the project, activities to help students isolate their own DNA and learn how the genome was sequenced, and case studies to address some ethical issues.

Teacher's Resources provides you with a listing of curriculum supplements, books, articles, and Web sites especially geared for helping you teach students about genetics and the human genome. We have also provided separate summaries of the program's online video clips to help you choose which will be best for your curriculum needs.
